2019 CMS Navigator Cooperative Agreement Recipient

Training/Capacity Building

~~“University of South Florida dba. Florida Covering Kids & Families (FL-CKF) was awarded a statewide 2019 CMS Navigator Cooperative Agreement serving “Left behind” populations who are disproportionately uninsured, including: hourly wage workers, service retail, manufacturing, and restaurant employees, seasonal employees; re-entry population; self-employed and small business owners; college students; individuals with disabilities; and HIV/AIDS and ADAP clients. . The Sub-awardee/Subrecipient Contracted Organizations are: Epilepsy Foundation of Florida, The Family Healthcare Foundation, Primary Care Access Network, Health Planning Council of Southwest Florida, and Health Planning Council of Northeast Florida. They will partner with the FL-CKF Covering Florida Consortium—a statewide consortium comprised of more than 40 members with broad representation from various Florida entities, including but not limited to:  Hospitals and clinics, Healthy Start programs, Job training and career development programs, United Way, Goodwill, and Colleges and universities .
