“Michigan Rehabilitation Services

The goal for all funds used for Supported Employment Services is to help individuals whose disabilities and functional limitations have traditionally meant that they would not be able to successfully enter the labor market through competitive integrated employment. Priorities include, but are not limited to: •Increase the number of individuals with most significant disabilities who receive Supported Employment services;

Use Title I funds for Supported Employment services to achieve the maximum number of quality employment outcomes for individuals with the most significant disabilities and a focus on youth;
Build subject matter expertise to facilitate Supported Employment, Customized Employment and other evidenced-based practices;
Increase Supported Employment training opportunities for Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) counselors, community rehabilitation service staff, families and individuals”
